2024 Nov 21 update

The team working on our new fire station in Silverthorne reported another solid week of progress. All exterior concrete flatwork has been poured. Once the concrete is cured, the snowmelt system will be charged and tested this winter. This is a huge milestone, considering the early and persistent snowfall this year. Credit to Columbine Construction and Hyder Construction's onsite superintendent Mark Crystal for making this happen. Landscaping and the various asphalt patches remain once the weather turns this coming spring. Inside, insulation has begun on the plumbing after the pipes passed inspection, and electrical rough inspections are slated for next week. Work continues on roofing, exterior door installation, various rough-ins and completing our wall closure forms, a critical part of the quality-assurance program.
