2024 Dec 20 update

A modern building with stone facade and large overhangs under a clear blue sky.
The longboard soffit looks really sharp, and the multi-level roofline gives the building a "mountain modern" aesthetic.

The construction team led by Hyder Construction at our new fire station in Silverthorne is reporting that they're very happy where they are going into the holidays, and so are we! Assistant Project Manager Mitch McKay reports: "Significant progress was made this week in the way of drywall – those guys fly when you give them a good runway!" That work will continue through the holidays, while remaining rough-in work continues by the mechanical-electrical-plumbing trade contractors. On the exterior of the building, the longboard soffit is nearly complete. Once it is, you'll see the finishing touches on siding and stone veneer. Additionally, the building is ready for solar-panel installation, as the roof is complete. Beyond the weekly update we received, we noticed that the flagpole now is in place, so we'll be needing to pick up a new U.S. flag, it seems!

Once the roof is put on the stairwell/training tower, the full skyline of the building will be complete.
